The Prime Minister of Canada has arrived in Kyiv

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney arrived in Kyiv today, on Ukraine’s Independence Day.

Carney announced this on the social network X.

In the morning, Carney stated that he had "just arrived in Kyiv."

"Just arrived in Kyiv, Ukraine. On this Independence Day of Ukraine and at this critical moment in the country’s history, Canada is strengthening its support and efforts aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine," the statement reads.
