Former Vice President of FC "Polissya" Volodymyr Teslya came under investigation for fraud amounting to 220 thousand dollars

On July 18, 2025, law enforcement officers conducted a search at the residence of the founder of the global league World Warriors Fighting Championship (WWFC), former vice president of FC "Polissya," Volodymyr Teslya, known in specific circles by the nickname "Frenchman".

It follows from the documents that the "raid" on the 47-year-old sports functionary, as well as details of other criminal adventures, can be found in the investigation "Parisian Holidays of the Frenchman", was conducted as part of a criminal investigation into the fraudulent acquisition of over 220,000 dollars (part 5 of article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), belonging to the owner of the "ATB" chain, president of FC "Polissya" Hennadiy Butkevych.

It is known that besides Tesla, the law enforcement officers also visited a former sports personnel manager of "Polissya," from whom they seized two iPhones and two laptops. As for the "Frenchman," they discovered 30,000 dollars and 329,000 UAH, over 600 cartridges, three smoke grenades, signal flares, and a seal of the mixed martial arts federation (all items were seized except for the money).

It is known that Volodymyr Tesla worked within the "Polissya" structure from the beginning of 2024 until the end of January this year. In early February 2025, it became known that the Zhytomyr club, at the initiative of Hennadiy Butkevych, ended its cooperation with the "Frenchman".
