Next month, Ukraine will receive several more F-16s from Belgium.

This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of Belgium, Maxime Prévot.

Belgium’s support is not limited to words. The allocation of 20 million euros for the Ukrainian food initiative is a concrete step with global significance. This is not just financial aid, but a recognition of Ukraine’s role as the world’s breadbasket. In addition to economic support, Belgium is also strengthening the security dimension.

The Minister separately emphasized that military assistance could be provided to Ukraine in the near future, and the Black Sea demining program will last at least four years.

«Until 2029, we will ensure the operation of demining ships and drones at sea. We are also working as part of the air defense coalition. Today, we have already trained over three thousand Ukrainian soldiers, pilots, and technicians. Next month, you will receive several F-16s. We will continue to freeze Russian assets so that they can be used today and in the future for the reconstruction of your country», — stated the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of Belgium, Maxime Prevot.
