The state has confiscated over 2.8 billion hryvnias from the Russian online casino "Pin-Up"
Over 2.8 billion UAH has been transferred to the state budget of Ukraine. Of this amount, 2.6 billion UAH consists of funds from the Russian online casino «PIN-UP», seized in favor of the state, as well as 200 million UAH in interest earned from the management of the arrested funds. Thanks to this, securities – military bonds worth 2 billion UAH – were transferred to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for early redemption and reduction of the national debt.
This was reported in a statement by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).
“This was made possible thanks to the coordinated work of the SBI, the Office of the Prosecutor General, the State Financial Monitoring Service, ARMA, and other state bodies. Currently, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency has executed the court verdict on the special confiscation of over 2.8 billion UAH of funds from the Russian online casino «PIN-UP». Securities – military bonds worth 2 billion UAH – were transferred to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for early redemption and reduction of the national debt. Additionally, 825 million UAH was directed to the state budget, including 217 million UAH of income earned during the management of the arrested funds,” the statement reads.
Based on the pre-trial investigation by the SBI, on July 10, 2025, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv found the director of LLC «Ukr Game Technology», which operated in Ukraine under the online casino brand «PIN-UP», guilty of committing a number of criminal offenses. The court verdict, which came into legal force on August 10, 2025, included, among other measures, the application of special confiscation.
The transfer of funds as part of this special confiscation was reported in mid-August.
