The Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine intercepted a conversation between Russian military personnel in which a commander orders the torture of Ukrainian prisoners. The event occurred during combat operations, and the recording was published on August 26.
The audio recording was published by the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. In it, the commander of the occupying unit can be heard giving a criminal order to his subordinates: "Alright, let them tear off the nail of the one they dislike the most."
Ukrainian intelligence emphasizes that there will be a just response to every crime committed by the Russian military.
