Olha Stefanishyna has become the new ambassador of Ukraine to the USA

Olha Stefanishyna has officially become the Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA. The formal procedures have been completed.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during his evening address.

"I have just spoken with Olha Stefanishyna - now the new Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States of America. The formal procedures have been completed - today I signed the decree on the appointment of the ambassador," Zelenskyy shared.

According to the President, he outlined key tasks to update the work of the Ukrainian embassy in the USA and to implement all agreements with President Donald Trump. This primarily concerns agreements in the defence sector.

"In many respects, Ukraine’s long-term security depends on relations with America," Zelenskyy emphasized.
