The MFA of Ukraine summoned the Hungarian ambassador due to sanctions against Madyar
On August 28, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine summoned the Hungarian ambassador to Kyiv following Budapest’s decision to ban the entry of the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi (Madyar).
This was reported by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andriy Sybiha.
"A note of protest was handed to the ambassador in response to Hungary’s discrimination against the Hungarian minority in Ukraine, specifically our defender of Hungarian descent, who was banned from entering the country of his ancestors," he emphasized.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine called on Hungary to continue "refraining from unfriendly actions and instead engage in a constructive dialogue, to which Ukraine remains ready."
