On Wednesday, August 28, the attack by the terrorist country on the Ukrainian capital took the life of a city prosecutor’s office employee, Mariya Burdyukh. The woman was retrieved alive from the rubble but died in the hospital.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General. They expressed their sincere condolences to Mariya’s relatives and to all who lost loved ones today.

"Rescuers are still working at the bombing sites, clearing the debris. Unfortunately, the number of dead and injured may increase. One of those whose life was taken by the Russians is the employee of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, Mariya Burdyukh. She died from her injuries at the Emergency Medical Clinic. A bright person," the statement said.

The Attorney General’s Office emphasizes that the occupying forces continue to deliberately target civilians, including houses, schools, and hospitals. The Russians continue to commit genocide.

"Prosecutor’s offices will do everything to ensure that every executor, everyone who issues criminal orders to kill Ukrainians, is identified and brought to justice. Bright memory to all the dead," the sad news was concluded by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
