During the MSPO 2025 armament exhibition in Poland, the technical data of the Ukrainian drone missile "Palyanytsya" was presented for the first time.
This attracted the attention of the military-technical portal Defense Express.
It turned out that the missile is 3.5 meters long, with a wingspan of 1.7 meters. The weight of the "Palyanytsya" is 320 kg, up to 100 kg of which is payload. The maximum flight distance of the missile is 650 km. The flight altitude varies from 15 to 500 meters.
The "Palyanytsya" uses GPS and an inertial system for guidance and orientation. A solid-fuel booster is used for the launch, after which a jet engine is activated.
The speed of the "Palyanytsya" reaches 900 km/h, which is comparable to the speed of the Russian cruise missile Kh-101.
It is believed that the new weapon was first used against the Russian army in August last year. However, there is currently no confirmation of the actual combat use of the "Palyanytsya".
