In the Kyiv region, a Ukrainian Armed Forces veteran shot dead a citizen of Azerbaijan and wounded his father, as reported by Azerbaijani media, citing journalist Mubariz Aslanov.

According to his information, the conflict that occurred on August 31 in Fastiv arose from a dispute over the price of a product. The man claimed that he "defended those on the front lines who are sitting in the rear and doing business." The verbal altercation escalated into a shooting: the veteran went home for a weapon and opened fire on the father and son.

The 28-year-old Rahimov Ismail Farman oglu died at the scene. His father survived and is in the hospital. The shooter was detained by the police.
