In the Sumy direction, border guards have recorded a significant decrease in Russian attacks. At the same time, the State Border Guard Service confirmed the redeployment of enemy forces to other directions, including the south.
This was stated by the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, during a telethon broadcast.
"Our units in the Khotin and Yunakivka communities note that the number of attacks or enemy actions has significantly decreased compared to the initial period when the enemy tried to advance deeper into Ukraine," said Demchenko.
He added that Russian troops are gradually withdrawing the accumulated forces and relocating them, particularly to southern directions.
The spokesman also reported that in recent days, the head of the State Border Guard Service, Serhiy Deyneko, visited the units of the Sumy Border Detachment and the "Steel Border" brigade, where he familiarized himself with the situation and commended the personnel for their resilience in battles with the enemy.
