In Kyiv, a nine-story building in the Svyatoshynskyi district was damaged following a massive attack by the Russian Federation

In Kyiv, as a result of a massive attack by Russia on the night of September 7, a nine-story building in the Svyatoshynskyi district was damaged. A fire broke out there.

At around 3:50 during a drone attack, local authorities reported a hit on a residential nine-story building in the Sviatoshynskyi district.

Additionally, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration, a 16-story building in the Svyatoshynskyi district was also hit. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) reported that several high-rise buildings were damaged in Borschahivka, Kyiv.

In the nine-story building, a fire broke out from the sixth to the ninth floors, and there was partial destruction of the ceilings. Nearby parked cars were also damaged or destroyed.

Residents of the damaged building were evacuated. As of 8:00, rescuers are still extinguishing the fire at the site of the strike.

Overall, according to rescuers, as a result of the Russian drone and missile strike on Kyiv, two people were killed, and 18 others were injured.
