GoFundMe has stopped the fundraising for the defence of the killer of a Ukrainian refugee

In the USA, a fundraiser was launched for a lawyer for the killer of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska.

Organizers of the fundraiser on the GoFundMe platform stated that the killer - 34-year-old African American Decarlos Brown Jr. - “is not fully responsible for his actions,” and donations will help “fight racism and bias.”

After a scandal erupted online, the platform’s administration canceled the fundraiser.
