The European Commission has proposed a reparations loan to Ukraine from frozen Russian assets

The European Commission has put forward a new proposal for funding Ukraine — providing a reparative loan based on monetary funds linked to frozen Russian assets.

This was announced in a statement by the European Commission on the X network.

"We support a new solution for funding Ukraine’s military campaign: a reparative loan based on Russian assets — the remaining monetary funds linked to these assets," quotes the head of the EC, von der Leyen.
