Situation on the front: 153 combat engagements recorded over the past day

As of 22:00 on September 10, 153 combat engagements took place. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel the enemy’s attempts to advance deeper into our territory, inflicting fire damage on them.

This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian invaders launched two missile strikes and 45 airstrikes, using 44 missiles and dropping 64 guided bombs. Additionally, they deployed 1,989 kamikaze drones for attacks and carried out 3,338 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas.

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, seven combat engagements occurred. The enemy conducted 10 airstrikes, dropping a total of 24 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 182 artillery shellings, including nine with multiple launch rocket systems.

Today, the enemy attacked 13 times in the South-Slobozhansky direction, in the areas of Vovchansk, Ambarne, and Odradne. Six combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy made four attempts to advance in the areas of Myrne, Kupiansk, and Borivska Andriivka.

In the Lyman direction, the Defence Forces repelled 17 assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Hrekivka, Serednie, Kolodiazi, Stavky, Torske, and Shandryholove. Eight more combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked 17 times in the areas of Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, and in the direction of Vyimka.

Since the beginning of the day, in the Kramatorsk direction, Russian units attacked five times in the areas of Bila Hora, Maiske, and in the directions of Stupochky and Predtechyne.

In the Toretsk direction, 13 combat engagements took place today. The enemy attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Pleshchiivka, Rusynyi Yar, Poltavka, and in the directions of Berestok and Sofiivka. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy attacked 39 times in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Vilne, Zolotyi Kolodyaz, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Promin, Lysivka, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Dachne, and Novoukrainka. Our defenders are holding back the enemy’s pressure, with one combat engagement still ongoing.

Today, in this direction, according to preliminary data, 112 occupiers were neutralized, of which 77 were irretrievable losses. Additionally, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed two artillery systems, one vehicle, 18 UAVs, one unit of special equipment, a UAV control point, and an ammunition depot. An artillery system, a unit of automotive equipment, and an enemy electronic warfare system were damaged.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 24 attacks by the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Filiia, Oleksandrohrad, Maliivka, Olhivske, Tolstoi, Piddubne, Novoivanivka, and in the direction of Ivanivka.

In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders once in the area of Bilohiria. Zaliznychne was subjected to an airstrike with unguided missiles.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy conducted offensive actions once in the area of Plavni and was repelled.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian units repelled two enemy attacks in the directions of Antonivka and Sadove.

No significant changes in the situation occurred in other directions.

Today, it is worth noting the soldiers of the 34th Separate Coastal Defence Brigade, who are effectively holding back the enemy.
