Syrskyi: Russia is adopting Ukrainian drone technologies

Russians are adopting successful technologies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, particularly in the field of interceptor drones.

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on Facebook.

"Ukrainian drones have inflicted significant damage on the enemy both at the tactical level and deep in their rear. This includes the destruction and damage of logistics and supply facilities, such as oil refineries, ammunition depots, and air defense systems," Syrskyi noted.

According to him, the enemy continues to adapt and, as usual, adopts successful technologies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including in the field of interceptor drones.

"We are engaged in a direct technological race, where the advantage will belong to those who not only modernize but also stay ahead. Our task is the constant improvement of existing solutions and the creation of new technologies and tactics for the use of unmanned systems," added the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In August, Ukrainian drones struck over 60,000 targets. Kamikaze drones and strike bombers remain the leaders, accounting for the largest share of destroyed enemy equipment and personnel.

"The drone line" is one of the priority directions. We are actively expanding structures, forming new units, and conducting intensive training for crews," Syrskyi emphasized.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to intensify strikes deep into operational zones, particularly targeting the equipment and personnel of the occupation forces. Successful operations demonstrate the effectiveness of our tactics.

Additionally, strikes deep into enemy territory are gradually reducing Russia’s military and economic potential. In August, several important targets were hit: oil refineries, military-industrial complex facilities, and production capacities supplying the Russian army with fuel, drones, and missiles.

"The enemy is increasing the depth of strikes using UAVs. This requires strengthening our electronic warfare units. We are scaling up EW capabilities, and we are already seeing results – in August, the number of enemy drones suppressed by these means increased," Syrskyi added.

According to him, during the meeting, special attention was paid to analyzing the combat use of drones, as well as the comprehensive processing of large data arrays. Analytics of UAV usage allows for prompt adjustments to tactics, increasing efficiency, and staying ahead of the enemy.
