The company led by the director of the TV series "Servant of the People," Oleksiy Kiryushchenko, whom President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called his friend, reached an annual turnover of over 866 million UAH in 2024. The firm sells electricity and collaborates with companies associated with one of the leaders of the OPFL – Yuriy Boyko.

This is reported in an investigation by Bihus.Info.

In August 2023, director Oleksiy Kiryushchenko, who collaborates with projects of the "Kvartal 95" studio, joined as a co-owner with a 49% share to the company "El-energo" (his business partner became Oleksandr Khandryha). Immediately after that, the company started receiving multi-million orders, mainly from municipal enterprises. Particularly, in December 2024, a contract was signed with "Dniprovodokanal" for over 850 million UAH (electricity supply to the municipal enterprise’s facilities until the end of 2025).

One of the tender requirements was to provide confirmation of the possibility to supply imported electricity, despite the fact that "Dniprovodokanal" at that time did not have the possibility to receive such imported electricity.

"El-energo" had documents that met the trade conditions. In particular, one of those documents was provided by the company "Ukraine talks." The owner of this company is Volodymyr Krupko, who was associated in the media with the MP from the now-banned OPFL, Yuriy Boyko. Krupko was the chairman of the Supervisory Board and a shareholder of "Volynoblenergo," which, according to media reports, was controlled by Boyko for years and which in 2020 formally passed into the ownership of his elder son.

Krupko was previously the owner of the company "Electrotrading Group" ("ETG") and in 2020 received almost 100 million UAH from this company in the form of salaries and dividends. Currently, "ETG" is the largest supplier of electricity that is resold by "El-energo." The new owner of "ETG" is Serhiy Astapov, also associated with OPFL. Specifically, it is reported that he worked at "Naftogaz" when Boyko headed this department.

The salary from "ETG" was also received (at least until January 2025) by the son of Boyko’s parliamentary colleague, Serhiy Lyovochkin.

Also, the close cooperation with Boyko’s circle might be indicated by the fact that last year the company of director Kiryushchenko rented an additional office in the center of Kyiv, for which it pays about 100,000 UAH monthly to the firm "Ukrbudgroup." The latter leads to the entourage of the MP, particularly the investment fund "Hunter." Media had already reported that this fund invests millions of hryvnias in construction.

As for Kiryushchenko himself, in the first four months of 2025, he received over 13 million UAH from "El-energo" in the form of dividends. Roughly speaking, this is about 100 thousand UAH a day.
