The police have submitted the case regarding the murder of activist Demyan Hanul to the court

The police have submitted the case regarding the murder of Demyan Hanul to the court.

The suspect is a 46-year-old officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Kyiv region. He faces life imprisonment.

According to the investigation, the active duty military officer received an order to kill the activist, took annual leave, rented two apartments in Odesa, and illegally acquired firearms, ammunition, and hand grenades, which he stored in these premises.

He was unable to fulfill the order by the end of his leave, so he took additional days off.
