Russia struck Kostyantynivka with a "Smerch": two wounded, houses and a clinic damaged
The terrorist country continues shelling Ukrainian regions, including Donetsk Oblast. On Sunday, September 14, Russia struck Kostyantynivka with the "Smerch" MLRS. People were injured during the attack.
This was reported by the head of the city military administration, Serhiy Horbunov.
Additionally, as a result of the shelling, houses and a clinic were damaged.
"In the city of Kostyantynivka, a series of enemy shelling attacks were recorded throughout the day, as a result of which civilian infrastructure was damaged. The occupiers carried out artillery shelling, damaging the facades of two private houses. There were no casualties among the population," the official reported.
Later, according to him, the enemy used "Smerch" multiple launch rocket systems. Two rockets hit the city, injuring two civilians. The facade of an apartment building and the administrative building of a local clinic were damaged.
Another "Smerch" rocket struck a different area of the city. No casualties were reported, but the facade of an administrative building was destroyed, and two multi-story buildings were damaged.
The enemy also attacked Kostyantynivka with an FPV drone. The blast wave caused damage to five private houses. Fortunately, there were no casualties this time.
The police department No. 2 of the Kramatorsk District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk region is documenting the damaged community infrastructure and recording the consequences of the enemy’s criminal actions.
The official emphasized that the repeated strikes on a peaceful city once again prove that Russian forces are deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure, posing a threat to the lives and safety of peaceful residents.
"We urge the residents of Kostyantynivka not to delay and to evacuate to safer regions. Save your life and the lives of your loved ones!" Serhiy Horbunov concluded in his statement.
