The court has dissolved the marriage of Arestovych and his wife Anastasia after 10 years together
The initiator of the breakup was the wife of the former advisor to the Office of the President.
The Kyiv court has dissolved the marriage between former advisor to the Office of the President Oleksiy Arestovych and his wife Anastasiya.
The decision was made on September 9, as became known from the court registry.
In mid-February of this year, Arestovych’s wife filed a lawsuit with the court. She stated that the marriage was purely formal; the couple held different views on family life and managing a joint household, and they lived separately. According to Anastasiya, reconciliation and preservation of the marriage were impossible.
During the court proceedings, Oleksiy Arestovych also had his say. In particular, he submitted a response to the lawsuit, in which he did not object to the dissolution of the marriage.
The court agreed with the position of the Arestovych couple and recorded that the parties had created conditions under which their marriage had effectively ended. Therefore, "further family life of the couple and the preservation of the family are impossible, as this contradicts the interests of the parties," the court noted and dissolved the marriage.
Thus, Oleksiy and Anastasiya Arestovych lived together for almost 10 years. They have a son named Oleksandr. Additionally, the former advisor to Bankova has two more children from previous marriages.
