Ukraine has interceptor drones to combat Russian "Shaheds," - Palisa

Ukraine already has interceptor drones capable of countering Russian "Shahed" drones with jet engines.

This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Pavlo Palisa.

A journalist asked Palisa about the effectiveness of Ukrainian interceptor drones.

"Different models show different results. But this is influenced by many factors, starting from the model itself and ending with the training of the crew and weather conditions," Palisa replied.

According to him, Ukraine is trying to build an optimal system at various lines and altitudes to effectively deal with all massive aerial threats.

The Deputy Head of the OP was also asked whether Ukraine has protection against Russian jet-powered "Shahed" drones.

"We also have interceptor drones capable of combating ’Shahed’ drones with jet engines. The enemy is evolving, and we are not standing still; we have no other choice," Palisa noted.
