In the night against Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Russian forces launched an attack on the territory of the Cherkasy region using strike UAVs.

This was reported in the Telegram channel by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.

"This night, the enemy sent strike UAVs to Cherkasy region. There are consequences for critical infrastructure," he noted.
