Umerov denied rumors about his family’s property in the USA

Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Rustem Umerov denied information about his or his family’s ownership of real estate in the United States.

This was stated by Umerov’s press service.

They noted that all of Umerov’s property is declared in accordance with the law, and the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NAPC) has not found any violations.

“In the United States, Rustem Umerov’s family rents one apartment, which is specified in his declaration. Two other properties are occupied and independently rented by his parents and brother, as officially reported in response to the Anti-Corruption Center’s request. All other ’properties’ listed in the publication are not related to the family, relatives, or Rustem Umerov during the reporting period,” the statement reads.

Umerov’s press service stated that the material by the Anti-Corruption Center is manipulative and based on indirect mentions from an unofficial website in the US, which do not confirm ownership rights. No official documents or registry extracts have been provided, and the specified properties belong to other individuals.
