Situation on the front: Since the beginning of the day, 140 combat engagements have occurred

The defenders of the country are focusing their efforts on disrupting the offensive plans of Russian invaders and depleting their combat potential. Since the beginning of the day, 140 combat engagements have taken place.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy launched one missile strike and 31 airstrikes, fired two missiles, and dropped 55 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they used 1,925 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,176 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions.

Combat operations on the Northern Front

In the North-Slobozhanske and Kursk directions, since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian warriors have repelled seven enemy assault actions. The enemy also carried out five airstrikes, using 14 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 104 shelling attacks, two of which were from multiple rocket launch systems.

Combat operations in Kharkiv region

In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attempted to storm the positions of our units in the areas of Vovchansk, Odradne, and Zapadne; Ukrainian units repelled nine attacks, with two engagements still ongoing.

Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks in the Kupiansk direction in the areas of Kupiansk and Petropavlivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.

Combat operations on the Eastern Front

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian warriors halted ten enemy attacks in the areas of Kolodiaziv, Novoselivka, Torske, and Shandryholove; six engagements are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, our defenders successfully repelled an enemy attempt to advance in the area of Yampol.

In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders stopped three enemy attempts to advance in the area of Kostiantynivka.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders 24 times near Oleksandro-Shultynе, Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Yablunivka, and Poltavka. Defence forces are steadfastly holding back the pressure — 22 enemy assault actions have been repelled, and two engagements are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy conducted 39 attacks. The enemy attempted to advance near Volodymyrivka, Nikanorivka, Nove Shakhove, Zoloty Koldiaz, Novoekonomichne, Myroliubivka, Rodynske, Mykolaivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirovy, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, and towards Novoukrainka and Filia. Two engagements are still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, today in this direction, our warriors eliminated 105 occupiers and wounded 67; one tank, 31 unmanned aerial vehicles, and nine units of automotive equipment were destroyed; four artillery systems and two units of enemy automotive equipment were damaged.

Combat operations on the Southern Front

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian units stopped 21 enemy attacks in the areas of Piddubne, Sichneve, Komyshuvakha, Novomykolaivka, and Novoivanivka; six engagements are currently ongoing.

In the Orikhiv and Prydniprovskyi directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.

In the Hulyaipole direction, Defence Forces repelled five enemy attacks near Poltavka: one enemy attempt to advance failed, while four engagements are still ongoing.

Today, the warriors of the 8th Border Guard Detachment should be commended for effectively repelling the enemy.
