Zelenskyy: Another blackout at the Zaporizhzhya NPP shows the weakness of international institutions

The latest blackout at the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant due to Russian aggression is an indicator that international institutions are weak and cannot do anything.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated this during his speech at the UN General Assembly.

The head of the Ukrainian state reminded that during his last year’s speech at the UN General Assembly, he warned of the risks of a radiation accident, particularly due to the occupation of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant by Russia.

"Nothing has changed since then; yesterday the plant suffered another blackout. Russia continues shelling even near the plant itself. The madness continues because international institutions are weak," Zelenskyy emphasized.
