Strikes on Russia’s fuel complex have caused logistics problems and issues with supplying its army. This directly affects the enemy’s ability to conduct active operations.
This was stated to journalists by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
According to him, units carrying out long-range fire strikes have already achieved notable results against the enemy.
What is DeepStrike and how does it work
"This is our strength, an effective program that has already proven its effectiveness. These are units of the Unmanned Systems Forces that carry out long-range fire strikes," Syrskyi said.
According to his data, the system allows for striking important targets at great distances and is constantly being improved.
Consequences of strikes on Russia’s military-industrial potential
"In just under two months, 85 important targets on enemy territory have been hit. Of these, 33 are military targets: bases, warehouses, arsenals, airfields, and aircraft on the ground. Another 52 are objects of the military-industrial complex: enterprises producing weapons, ammunition, warheads, engines, missile fuel, drones—everything that is used against us daily," said the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Syrskyi emphasized that among the affected targets, the impact on enterprises producing fuel and components for missile technology is particularly significant.
Fuel crisis in Russia and its consequences
"The results are known to you. This is a fuel crisis on Russian territory, which directly affects logistics and the supply of its army. The capabilities of the enemy’s military-industrial complex have been significantly reduced—and we see this on the battlefield," Syrskyi noted.
According to him, strikes on the fuel complex have complicated the enemy’s operational activities and undermined its capabilities on the front line.
Operational consequences for the enemy’s navy and aviation
"This has forced the Russian fleet to hide at the base in Novorossiysk and to go out only for short periods—for missile strikes—and then return to shelters again. It has also forced the enemy to withdraw tactical aviation to significant distances from the front line," he added.
Syrskyi reported that the loss of access to fuel changes the operational behavior of Russian troops and weakens their mobility.
Scaling and further development of DeepStrike
"Therefore, we continue to increase and scale the units carrying out DeepStrike. At the same time, we are improving the system of their application and the command structure to achieve maximum efficiency," the Commander-in-Chief concluded.
He confirmed the intention to develop capabilities for long-range strikes and to enhance their accuracy and coordination.
