SOF of the AFU destroyed the "Iskanders" of the 448th Missile Brigade of the RF in the Kursk region
On August 9, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the "Iskanders" of the 448th Missile Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kursk region.
This was reported by the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is reported that the Special Operations Forces units carried out strikes on hangars used by the occupiers from the 448th Missile Brigade named after S. P. Nepobedimiy for the covert storage of "Iskander" missile systems on the territory of a former poultry farm in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

The result of the comprehensive work of the Special Operations Forces includes:
- 5 destroyed 9T250 type transporter-loader vehicles;
- 1 destroyed "Iskander" missile launcher;
- damaged "Pantsir-S1" air defence system that covered the target;
- destroyed warehouses and automotive equipment.
"The Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to take asymmetric and sensitive actions to stop Russia’s aggression against Ukraine," the General Staff emphasized.
