Situation on the front: Ukrainian military repelled over 50 assault attacks in several directions, eliminating 136 occupiers

As of 22:00 on September 29, there have been 139 combat engagements.

This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy launched 33 air strikes on our troops’ positions and populated areas, using 58 guided aerial bombs. A total of 1822 kamikaze drone strikes were recorded, and the enemy conducted 3022 artillery shellings.

In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 19 assault actions by the occupiers. Additionally, the enemy carried out six air strikes, dropping eleven guided aerial bombs, and conducted 156 attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, including seven with multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three attacks near the settlements of Vovchansk and Kamianka.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy twice attempted to dislodge our units from their positions near Radiivka and Stepova Novoselivka. One combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched twelve attacks, attempting to advance in the areas of Karpivka, Serednie, Kolodiazi, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Drobysheve, Shandryholove, and Torske. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, our soldiers repelled two enemy attacks towards the settlement of Yampil.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defence Forces successfully stopped two enemy attempts to advance towards Minkivka and Kostiantynivka.

The enemy attempted eleven times to penetrate our defenses in the Toretsk direction in the areas of Ivanopillia, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusynyi Yar, and Poltavka.

During the day, in the Pokrovsk direction, the aggressor carried out 35 assault and offensive actions in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Bilytske, Myroliubivka, Zvirove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, Dachne, and towards the settlements of Balahan and Filiia. Currently, battles are ongoing in three locations.

According to preliminary estimates, in this direction, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 136 occupiers, of which 70 were irretrievable losses, and two were taken prisoner. Four units of automotive equipment, 11 unmanned aerial vehicles, and one heavy flamethrower system were destroyed. Additionally, one artillery system, one unit of automotive equipment, and seven enemy personnel shelters were damaged.

In the Novopavlivka direction, our defenders stopped 24 enemy attacks in the areas of Zelenyi Hai, Novokhatske, Piddubne, Komyshuvakha, Sosnivka, Sichneve, Hrushivske, Oleksiivka, Zaporizke, Berezove, Novomykolaivka, and towards Novopavlivka and Novohryhorivka. Six combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Hulyaipole direction, five combat engagements were recorded in the area of Poltavka. The settlements of Novopavlivka and Zaliznychne were subjected to airstrikes.

In the Orikhiv direction, three combat engagements took place, with the enemy attempting to advance near the settlements of Stepove, Kamianske, and in the direction of Stepnohirsk.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian units repelled four enemy assaults. Enemy aviation struck the area near the settlement of Odradokamianka.

Today, the soldiers of the 34th Separate Coastal Defence Brigade should be commended for effectively countering the enemy.
