The NAPC will not verify the declaration and lifestyle of MP Oleksiy Kuznyetsov

The NAPC will not conduct a verification of the declaration and lifestyle monitoring of MP Oleksiy Kuznyetsov.

A month ago, journalists published an investigation according to which the wife of MP Oleksiy Kuznyetsov – Alina Kuznyetsova – purchased a plot of land in Kyiv with a «shell» of a house, which has been under renovation and decoration for the last 4 years. An expert estimated the value of this estate at over $400,000. The house has not yet been put into operation, so it lacks precise characteristics and an identified owner.

In its response, the NAPC stated that for a verification to be conducted, factual data on the acquisition of assets after November 28, 2019, as well as information on the difference between their value and lawful income exceeding 1.5 million UAH, are required. According to amendments to the legislation dated July 17, 2025, the requirement regarding «unjustified assets» applies specifically to such cases.

The NAPC added that the value of the land plot purchased by Kuznyetsov’s wife in 2021 amounts to 2.64 million UAH, based on an expert assessment by «Lekstatus Group» LLC. The agency also noted that the MP and his family members had the financial capacity to acquire the property and cover the costs of renovation and maintenance.

The NAPC reported that a full verification of Kuznetsov’s declaration for 2020 was conducted, resulting in a report dated December 6, 2025, No. 868/21, which established signs of an offense under Article 172-6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine – violation of financial control requirements.
