In Ukraine, they want to significantly increase fines for speeding due to the rising number of deaths in road accidents, — draft law.

A draft law has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada, which proposes to abolish the rule on «permitted» speeding up to 20 km/h and establish fines:

▫️+10 km/h — 340 UAH.
▫️+20 km/h — 680 UAH.
▫️+30 km/h — 1,360 UAH.
▫️+40 km/h — 1,700 UAH.
▫️+60 km/h — 2,720 UAH.
▫️+80 km/h — 3,400 UAH.

For speeding that created an emergency situation, — deprivation of driving rights from 6 months to a year.
