"Sitting over tea and eating biscuits." Ryanair demanded to shoot down drones threatening European airports.

Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary criticized the EU for its inability to protect European airports and stated that unauthorized drones disrupting air traffic should be shot down, according to Politico.

"I have no faith in European leaders who sit over tea and eat biscuits. If you can’t even protect the airspace over France, what chance do we have that they will protect us from Russia?" — he added, referring to the cancellation of routes over France during air traffic controller strikes in the country.
