Commander of Ukrainian strike drones accuses authorities of disbanding the unit
Yuriy Kasyanov, the commander of a drone unit, reported that his company of strike unmanned systems from the 10th Mobile Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has been disbanded.
Kasyanov regularly criticized Ukraine’s military and political leadership. Additionally, he mentioned the drone manufacturer Fire Point, which is linked to the president’s entourage, in a negative context.
In this regard, Kasyanov believes that his unit was disbanded on the orders of the Office of the President.
He also claims that it was his unit that struck the Kremlin with drones in May 2023.
«On the night of May 3, 2023, we struck the Kremlin with exceptional precision. Our goal was to take down the imperial flag, but we missed by half a meter. Since 2022, our unit has successfully conducted hundreds of operations, inflicting damages on the enemy worth over half a billion dollars. We have not lost a single fighter. I consider the decision to disband our unit, made by Yermak, a crime, sabotage, and treason. Betrayal is being carried out on Bankova Street», – Kasyanov wrote on Facebook.
