Massive shelling in Kherson region: one person killed, 20 injured

In the Kherson region on October 6, one person was killed and 20 others were injured due to shelling, among them four children.

This was reported by the Kherson Region Prosecutor’s Office. 

"On October 6, 2025, the Russian armed forces massively attacked settlements in the Kherson region with artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, drones of various types, and missiles. As of 17:30, it is known that there is one deceased civilian and 20 injured, among whom are four children," the report states.

As a result of an MLRS strike on the village of Stepankivka, a woman was killed. Six local residents were injured, including three children.

In the village of Chornobaivka, seven people were wounded due to enemy shelling, including a child.

In the afternoon, the enemy struck Chornobaivka again, injuring one civilian.

Additionally, six civilians were injured due to the explosion of shells dropped by drones in Kherson.

More than a hundred private residential houses, educational institutions, a store, an outbuilding, and other civilian infrastructure objects were damaged.
