In Boryspil, a man died during the Military Medical Commission: the police have opened a case
In Boryspil near Kyiv, on October 6, 2025, a 43-year-old man who was supposed to undergo a military medical examination died in a hospital. The police emphasize that medics attempted to provide assistance, but they were unable to save his life. Witnesses reported that the unfortunate man suddenly collapsed on the hospital grounds, and his condition was critical from the start of the incident.

The tragic death of the man in the Boryspil city hospital was reported by the Kyiv Region Police. The incident was reported by an employee of the Boryspil hospital’s reception department. They explained that the man suddenly fell on the hospital grounds and sustained bodily injuries.
Eyewitnesses said that the man had arrived in the city to undergo a military medical examination. According to them, he was getting out of a vehicle, fell, and hit his head on the asphalt. Military personnel nearby provided first aid, but the victim’s condition remained critical.
The Boryspil District Police Department has initiated a pre-trial investigation under Part 1 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This article pertains to manslaughter due to negligence—possibly investigating the role of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) staff who accompanied the man. The investigation is ongoing, with law enforcement officers establishing all the circumstances of the incident and collecting witness testimonies.
The police stress that only preliminary circumstances have been established so far—the man sustained bodily injuries during a fall on the hospital grounds. The investigation continues, with law enforcement officers checking for surveillance cameras and interviewing witnesses.
