The former secretary of the Kyiv City Council will be tried for facilitating evasion of military service

According to the materials of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), the former secretary of the Kyiv City Council is accused of illegally accounting salary for the head of the secretariat’s affairs, who was mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2022–2023.

The official’s actions caused the state to incur losses amounting to more than 690,000 hryvnias. The indictment has already been sent to court.
