Budanov: Russia would have long lost the war in Ukraine without the support of its allies
Russia would have long lost the war in Ukraine if the Kremlin were not supported by allies, including North Korea.
This was stated by the head of Ukrainian intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov.
Budanov held a meeting with representatives of the foreign military-diplomatic corps, where they discussed, among other things, countering the aggressor.
"Russia would have long lost this war. Ukraine, with the help of partners, would have reclaimed the occupied territories if it were not for the support of the Kremlin by Moscow’s allies, primarily North Korea," said the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (DIU).
The head of Ukrainian intelligence also reported that some countries are demonstrating less than honest behavior. Despite international sanctions, they allow Moscow to obtain weapons and other critical components, and their citizens agree to join the Russian army.
"I want to draw attention to the fact that some countries are still engaging in less than honest behavior. Despite international sanctions, they allow the Russian Federation to obtain weapons, ammunition, and critically important components. They also allow their own citizens to join the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces," Budanov concluded.
He also thanked foreign partners for supporting Ukraine and warned the EU and NATO about the intensification of hybrid warfare from Russia.
