
Poltava region, on the night of October 16, was subjected to a massive missile strike by Russian forces. The attack was part of a large-scale shelling primarily targeting energy infrastructure facilities.
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, several enemy missiles were heading directly towards the region, with a particular threat to the cities of Poltava and Myrhorod.
