According to "ATESH", in the Kherson region, the Russian command is facing the problem of an increasing number of deserters among the occupying forces.
"Our agents report a mass escape of military personnel from the Kherson direction. Harsh treatment by commanders, senseless attacks, and lack of rotation force soldiers to leave their positions," the message states.
To capture the escapees, the Russian command is employing significant resources.

The movement also provided local residents’ testimonies that often Russian deserters, after leaving their positions, seize residential houses. If discovered, they use weapons.
"ATESH" appeals to the servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces: do not wait until you are caught or sent to certain death. We organize your safe exit with a guarantee of life preservation," the movement addressed the occupiers.
