Night interception: Ukrainian drones damaged the TOS "Solntsepyok", forcing the enemy to abandon their positions
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian units demonstrated a swift and effective response against the enemy. Thanks to the coordinated work of "bombers" and FPV drones, the adversary was forced to abandon positions.
This became known from a video of the battalion of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh.
Ukrainian military reported about the night interception in the Lyman direction, during which the enemy attempted to use the TOS "Solntsepyok" multiple launch rocket system.
According to them, the enemy deployed its position but received an operational response from the Ukrainian units.
Initially, strikes were delivered on the enemy positions by "bombers," forcing the adversary to abandon its position. When the enemy tried to retreat, they were detected by the FPV pilots of the SIGNUM battalion.
According to the military report, a cumulative hit damaged the rocket engine, which subsequently detonated.
Although the TOS was not completely destroyed, Ukrainian defenders confirmed that the forest and controlled territories remain under their defence.
The military emphasized that the operation is an example of coordinated work, quick reaction, and professionalism of the units, which keep the enemy under constant surveillance.
