In the Chernihiv region, an interregional group of drug dealers using "dead drops" has been exposed
Employees of the criminal police department, together with officers from the narcotics crime sector, investigators, and members of the rapid response team of the Pryluky district police, under the procedural guidance of the Pryluky district prosecutor’s office, detained an interregional criminal group that systematically trafficked narcotic and psychotropic substances through "stash" methods.
Law enforcement officers seized from illegal circulation packaged psychotropics such as amphetamine, Alpha-PVP salts, and mephedrone, valued at over half a million hryvnias.

This was reported by the police of the Chernihiv region.
Over several months, the Pryluky police identified all participants - three residents of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, aged between 26 to 44 years.

The police ascertained that the group operated in the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Poltava regions through an online channel to distribute the drugs. Clients ordered psychotropics online, paid through payment systems, and received photos and coordinates of the "stash" locations. The dealers could place up to half a thousand stashes in a day.
The arrest took place when the offenders were on their way to distribute the latest batch of "goods" in the Pryluky district. During a sanctioned search of the vehicle, police discovered over 800 packages containing crystalline substances wrapped in insulation tape, as well as mobile phones, bank cards, and cash.

As a result of the measures taken, police detained three group members - two men and a woman (born in 1998, 1993, and 1981).
Additionally, law enforcement conducted sanctioned searches at the suspects’ residences, where additional evidence of their criminal activities was seized, including bank cards, drug packages, and portable equipment. A grenade with a detonator was also discovered on one of the offenders.

Investigators from the Pryluky district police department notified all three detainees of suspicion under part 3 of article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal manufacturing, storage, and distribution of narcotic or psychotropic substances in particularly large sizes, committed by an organized group).

An additional pre-trial investigation is ongoing under part 1 of article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition, or explosives).

If convicted, the suspects face up to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The court has chosen a preventive measure for the three defendants - detention.
The pre-trial investigation continues.
