Ukraine was attacked by 98 kamikaze drones and 6 missiles: Air Defence Forces shot down 58 targets

The Russian occupation army once again terrorized Ukraine with drone attacks on the night of October 21. The invaders launched dozens of Shahed-type kamikaze drones and ballistic missiles.

Air defence forces destroyed 58 UAVs. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

Overall, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 98 Shahed-type strike drones and various types of emulator drones. The Russians launched UAVs from different directions: Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, Chauda, Hvardiiske – the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, with more than 70 of them being "Shaheds".

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

Russians also attacked with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Bryansk region and four S-300 guided anti-aircraft missiles from the Kursk region.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defence had shot down/suppressed 58 UAVs of the Shahed, Geran, and other types in the north, south, and east of the country.

There were missile hits and 37 strike UAVs recorded at 10 locations, as well as the falling of shot down drone debris at 2 locations.
