Russia uses new tactics to detect Ukrainian FPV drones
The Russian army has started using a new tactic to locate Ukrainian FPV drone crews.
This was reported by UAV expert Flash.
«An FPV drone with an extended battery flies over the front line, lingering over tree lines and settlements. The video is recorded on an SD card in several ranges. After returning, the video recording is analyzed. The goal is to determine the location of FPV operators who take off at low VTX power. Distant interception points do not capture weak signals, but a drone for radio reconnaissance excellently captures images at minimal power», writes Serhiy Beskrestnov.
The crews operating the UAVs are a priority target for both sides, as drones are currently the main weapon in the ongoing conflict.
