The DIU announced the liquidation of three Russian paratroopers from the 247th Airborne Regiment in Stavropol

Three Russian paratroopers were neutralized in Stavropol, Russia, - DIU.

On October 22, 2025, as a result of a successful operation by the DIU Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, supported by the "Caucasus Liberation Movement" forces, at least three servicemen from the 247th Caucasian Cossack Regiment of the Airborne Forces were neutralized.

The high-profile event occurred near the checkpoint of military unit no. 54801 in the very center of the city of Stavropol.

"The soldiers and officers of this unit have been actively involved in combat operations in Ukraine since 2014 and have been noted for numerous war crimes during the full-scale invasion," the DIU added.
