The head of Ivano-Frankivsk’s "Warm City" Oksana Bryndzak died in a road accident in the Lviv region

On the evening of October 23, Oksana Bryndzak, the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk platform "Warm City," tragically lost her life in a road accident in the Lviv region.

This was reported on the "Warm City" Facebook page.

"On the evening of October 23, our leader, close friend, and mentor Oksana Bryndzak passed into eternity. A person who loved Ivano-Frankivsk, ’Warm City,’ and, most importantly, every individual more than life itself. She saw something greater in everyone beyond mere professional duties. Her heart carried a light that helped highlight only the best. She believed that human relationships are the foundation of positive interaction," the platform’s page  stated.

The Ukrainian Catholic University also expressed condolences regarding the tragic loss of their alumna.

"Oksana Bryndzak – a graduate of the ’Clinical Psychology with CBT Foundations’ program at the Faculty of Health Sciences of UCU, founder and head of the NGO ’Joy in Old Age.’ Co-founder and head of the social enterprise VBRANI. 

Referent to the Vice-Rector for Academic and Pedagogical Work at UCU from 2018 to 2020. Psychologist and lecturer. Instructor of the Worldview Core program at the Ukrainian Catholic University from 2021 to 2025.

In 2021, she received an award at UCU for community-oriented learning through the projects ’Voice of Fairy Tales,’ ’Sketchbook,’ ’Discover Ukraine,’ and ’Growing Together.’

The tragic loss of Oksana is an irreparable loss for our community, society, and all of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Catholic University community extends sincere condolences to Oksana’s family and loved ones," UCU stated.
