Situation at the front: 71 combat engagements recorded, Ukrainian defenders repelled most attacks

Russian invaders continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. Since the beginning of the day, 71 combat engagements have been recorded on the front line.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Border settlements, including Bila Bereza, Chernatske, Chuikivka, Malushyne, Brusky, and Shalyhyne in Sumy region, as well as Yasna Polyana, Arkhipivka, and Lohy in Chernihiv region, are suffering from artillery shelling from Russian territory.

Ukrainian defenders repelled one enemy attack in the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions. The enemy also conducted one airstrike, dropped four guided aerial bombs, and carried out 74 shelling attacks, including one with a multiple rocket launcher system.

In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders four times near Vovchansk, Stroivka, and in the direction of Bolohivka and Dvorichanske. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders repelled four enemy attacks in the direction of the settlements of Pishchane and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman direction, the aggressor army attacked eight times near the settlements of Karpivka, Serednie, Derylovo, and Torske. Defense forces successfully stopped seven enemy attempts to advance, while one combat engagement continues.

In the Slovyansk direction, the enemy attempted to break through five times in the areas of Vyimka, Pereizne, and Fedorivka. Our defenders successfully repelled all enemy attacks.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions today.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the aggressor attacked nine times today in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Pleshchiivka. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers made 17 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the areas of Ivanivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Molodetske, and in the direction of Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka. Six combat engagements are still ongoing.

Today, in the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked seven times near the settlements of Sosnivka, Stepove, Oleksandrohrad, Pavlivka, Novohryhorivka, and in the direction of Rybne. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Hulyaipole direction, our defenders stopped two enemy attempts to advance near the settlements of Mlynivka and Zelenyi Hai. The settlements of Solodke, Rivnopillya, Zaliznychne, and Nechaivka were subjected to airstrikes.

In the Orikhiv direction, Defence Forces successfully repelled four enemy attacks near the settlements of Novoandriivka, Stepove, and Stepnohirsk. Additionally, the enemy carried out airstrikes on Stepnohirsk, Veselyanka, and Novoyakivlivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy conducted airstrikes on the settlement of Olhivka.

No significant changes in the situation have been recorded in other directions of the front line.
