"We remain by your side": police show video of first minutes after night shelling of Kyiv
Videos of the first minutes after the Russian shelling of Kyiv on the night of October 26 have appeared online. As a result of the attack, residential buildings and cars were damaged, and there are casualties and injuries among civilians.
The video was published by officers of the Kyiv Patrol Police. The post states that law enforcement officers arrived at the impact sites, provided assistance to the victims, and maintained order in dangerous areas.
In the published footage, police officers, together with emergency services, can be seen helping residents of a smoke-filled building evacuate the premises. In some cases, doors had to be broken down to rescue people. Additionally, one of the patrol officers saved a cat.
"Even under the threat of repeated strikes, we stayed by the side of citizens – supporting them, providing assistance, doing everything possible to preserve the lives and peace of Kyiv residents," the law enforcement officers noted.
