Zelenskyy: Putin’s statements about "successes" on the front are lies, Russia is not advancing

The statements by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin about advances on the front in Ukraine are false.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with Axios.

As the publication reports, Zelenskyy explained to U.S. President Donald Trump that Putin’s statements are untrue. Moreover, American intelligence has also shown that "currently, no one is winning on the battlefield."

According to Zelenskyy, Ukrainian intelligence found out that Putin privately boasted to allies that Russia would occupy the entire Donbas by October 15, but that deadline has passed.

"Russia cannot do this. He does not have enough people. His strong battalions have been destroyed. Today, on the battlefield, we are mostly where we have been for the last 2-3 months," Zelenskyy said.
