In Kherson region, a doctor is suspected of assisting in evasion of mobilization

Police in Kherson region suspect a doctor of assisting conscripts in evading mobilization.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kherson region.

“The suspect is a 65-year-old doctor from Beryslav district. She was appointed as a reserve therapist of the non-staff permanent military medical commission at the TRC and SS in December 2022,” the police stated.

Police conducted a series of investigative and search activities and established that the doctor helped two men avoid mobilization to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a certain period.

The actions of the woman were classified by investigators of the regional police department under Part 1 of Article 366 “Official forgery” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The doctor may face restriction of liberty for up to three years.
