Russia attacked Ukraine with 38 drones: Air defence destroyed 26 enemy targets

The Russian occupation army, on the night of October 28, once again terrorized Ukraine with drone attacks. The invaders launched dozens of Shahed-type kamikaze drones yet again.

Air defence forces destroyed 26 UAVs. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In total, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 38 Shahed-type strike drones and various types of decoy drones. The Russians launched the UAVs from different directions: Kursk, Oryol, with over 25 of them being "Shaheds."

The air assault was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 26 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types in the northern and eastern parts of the country.

Hits by 12 strike UAVs were recorded at 4 locations, as well as the fall of downed drones (debris) at 1 location.
