
The High Council of Justice has temporarily suspended Judge Viktoriya Prykhodko of the Marinka District Court of Donetsk Region, who was seconded to the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Zaporizhzhya, from administering justice due to her being brought to criminal liability until a court verdict becomes legally binding or the criminal proceedings are closed.
The decision was made based on the results of consideration of a relevant petition by Deputy Prosecutor General Mariya Vdovychenko.
The judge is suspected of committing a criminal offense under Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
For reference: Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine pertains to justifying, recognizing as legitimate, denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, or glorifying its participants, committed by an official (the penalty under this article provides for imprisonment for a term of five to eight years with or without confiscation of property).
